Quite unusual in the present day school settings, UJA has a large and spacious area sitting on 12 acres. This space has been architecturally designed to give the child utmost comfort away from the polluted city. The air quality at UJA is undoubtedly great as the compound is covered with green, being aware that the environment greatly contributes to a child’s brain formation.
Adjacent to the school compound is a place where some domestic birds and animals are kept to enable the child gain knowledge about them. We subject the child to wider experiences where they relate freely as they play around and view the different species of trees and fruits planted in the compound, and some of the domestic birds and animals.
This not only contributes to physical development,but also cognitive, social and spiritual growth as they learn to interact with each other and the environment. Our parents should not be worried for we know of possible dangers of such a compound and have manpower in place to prevent any form of accidents.
