CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AT UPHILL JUNIOR ACADEMY

UJA has in place standard play facilities for sports including football, volleyball, swimming, basketball, rugby, etc. Well-facilitated rooms for indoor games are also available to promote experience in varied games like Chess, Table tennis, etc.  These contribute to the physical, as well as social and emotional growth of the child through these activities that are characterized by teamwork, respect, esteem and above all autonomy, attributes necessary in life.

Also, at UJA, talent development is an integral part of the curriculum. We have music, dance and drama since we believe in developing our pupils with enjoyment and enthusiasm. This stimulates the child’s academic pursuits and prospects. We invest in trainers for MDD and coaches for sports to ensure appropriate development.

Debates and quizzes are an integral part of the school activities to build confidence and assertiveness, as we train eloquence and effective communication in our pupils.
