Greetings and gratitude

We thank the Almighty God for the love, protection, providence, and blessings we received throughout the term. We extend our gratitude to all our parents for the financial, moral, and social support to Uphill Junior Academy. Special thanks to parents that clear the school fees on time. Academics

Overall, the academic performance of our children has been commendable. A significant number of learners have shown remarkable improvement across. Our teachers have worked diligently to ensure that the children receive the support they need to improve. The assessments have shown a positive trend compared to the previous term.

Fees Structure: School fees remain unchanged.

NB. All payments are made using the child’s school pay code (refer to report card) through Centenary Bank or by either using Airtel money or MTN mobile money.

Welfare

We continue to prioritise the well-being of our children. The welfare department has worked diligently to provide nutritious meals, reinforcing healthy eating habits.

Ministry Registration and UNEB Centre Number

I wish to inform you that, Uphill Junior Academy is now fully registered by the Ministry of Education and Sports Reg. No. PPS/U/54. We also secured a UNEB Center number 013595. Our pioneer candidates will sit their final PLE examinations under Uphill Junior Academy.

Education tour

We are organizing an education tour for our children on 17th October 2024. You are therefore requested to contribute 70,000/= per child for facilitation. The places to tour will be communicated subsequently.

Religious affairs

A good number of our children received first Holy Communion this term. Our goal remains to support the spiritual development of all children while respecting the beliefs and practices of every individual in our school community. I wish to thank parents who supported their children to achieve the sacrament.

Co-curricular

I wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all parents who attended the Sports day. Your presence and encouragement was invaluable, not only to our children but also to the entire school community. It was wonderful seeing you cheering the participants.

I once again thank you very much for supporting and maintaining our children at school.
